Ladbroke Grove Notting Hill Gate

This was a spectacular development of a listed building in Notting hill gate, in collaboration with Katherine Pooley and 23 architecture. The refurbishment took over a year in total. We were requested to excavate a huge basement in the garden which turned out very well.

Due to the location of the house, on a busy road in Notting Hill Gate, we did encounter some difficulties but managed to overcome these and hopefully kept the neighbours happy. The eventual basement is entered through an automated roof hatch provided by Trombe, with rain sensors.

The staircase leads into the most spectacular living space we have ever developed in central London, with all the entertainment features one could wish for in a London home.

All the joinery and marble work was completed by ourselves, from our beautiful workshops in south London, and the project came to a successful and happy conclusion.
